    Bonang threw tantrums at her fan’s alleged message from God

    Bonang Matheba was indignant for someone using Twitter to preach directly to her. The flamboyant entertainer’s reply was brief but blistering, scathing and likely left the tweep feeling the sting. Bonang’s acolytes were very impressed with her response and praised her.

    South Africa’s Queen B is renowned for interacting with her fans and showing them love, but if you rub her the wrong way and you’ll either get a burning clap-back or feel the chill of an immediate ‘block’.

    The gorgeous entertainer wasn’t amused when a social media user (perhaps a fan?) took to her Twitter account to give her an alleged ‘message from God’.

    Even though the original tweet has been deleted, ZAlebs quoted it as: “I prayed about it and God says you need to bow before him and praise him publicly and stop producing alcohol. Why don’t you use your influence for good?”

    Bonang wasn’t feeling it and in two words she ended the discussion. Being the fabulous diva that she is, she added a heart emoji to show her class (and burning sarcasm).

    It can be argued that Bonang is, in fact, using her influence for good. She’s planning on building a primary school in Soweto.

    Star Magazine Africa also learnt that she’s also a Global Citizen Ambassador and involved in many acts of philanthropy.

    Global Citizens register through an initiative linked to the Global Citizen Festival, an annual music event featuring major artists worldwide. They are dedicated, proactive and creative and take part in the emerging world community to build values and good practices.

    Bonang’s fans were impressed with her reply. Here’s what some of them had to say about it:

    @maplayar “Simple and straightforward, dankie sis.”

    @KanyoKngwendu “The heart emoji! Levels.”

    @andanievans “What a bloody piece of tweet.”

    @SSTeD_D “How dare she insult the Queen like this!!!”

    @LSNtinga “Your reply, perfect.”
